the-mnms replied to your post: Just took medicine for my fever blisters that may cause dizziness… Hi I just started following you but u sound very motivational! I’m trying to lose some of my pregnancy weight and was wondering if u have a cleanse u like? I need to cut down on cookies n junk food or I will never lose the weight. Thank u :)!

Thanks so much for following!

I’ve never actually done a cleanse so I am afraid I’ll be no help with that.

My first advice is to simply NOT buy junk food- don’t keep it in the house! That is what makes me most want to eat crap since I still live at home and don’t get to make all the purchasing decisions.

Tip #2- use a tracking app/website like myfitnesspal.com or loseit.com  OR just write down what you’re eating. Knowing you are going to write it down definitely makes you think twice before eating junk. I’ve done it on and off for awhile but since I just started doing it again last week, I have definitely been eating MUCH cleaner…It’s also great to be aware of what nutrients you’re actually eating. For example, I never thought I ate that many carbs- but once I started tracking, I saw the foods that secretly had tons of carbs.

Awareness and accountability are keys to weightless. Preparation is also a big factor. Make your lunches and snacks in advance- or just plan them out in advance. You’ll eat more healthy foods if you have thought about it or prepared them before you’re actually hungry and willing to grab whatever to satisfy your hunger.

Please feel free to comment or message me any time for advice, I love helping!!

Advice: Should I learn how to do cleans and jerks?

thankssss :)

Lower/Bis/Tris & some cardio

same as monday night except I upped some weights— on my walking lunges I used 20’s for all 4 sets, and 20’s for my step ups for all 3 sets :)

Got a few pointed from the Fitness Manager on the back extensions to make sure I had the “machine” at the right height and that I was coming up properly- it always helps that I used to work at the gym so I know most of the staff pretty well and I feel comfortable asking advice from the trainers/FSM.

Did 2 1 minute planks, stretched, 10.5 mins. on the stair master @ level 9, 5 minutes of rowing, followed by more stretching.

Definitely a solid workout. I debated on doing more cardio since I had the time, but sometimes I think doing more will hurt more than do good since my legs were already fatigued from lifting.

Do all of you workout today!?!

Next question—- FAQ’s page?

Please and thank youuu! I really do appreciate the help- I am not tech savvy when it comes to html/websites :/

I keep finding that trainers tend to disagree…

on EVERYTHING. Here are some examples I have experienced lately:

1. kinds of workout plans they prefer

2. whether certain exercises are good or bad for the body

3. food intake or “Dieting” styles

4. the amount of cardio one should do

So with all the different studies. experts weighing in, etc., how can we know who to take advice from?!?! #confusing #contradicting #annoying

Completely NOT fitness related buttttt..

anyone have any suggestions on drugstore teeth whitening systems?

Strips? Paste/tray?

Specific brands or sets? (I know there are a bajillion Crest Whitestrip boxes, so if you have a favorite, let me know please!)

Thank youuu!

Wishing it were easier to follow my own advice/thoughts…

I really SHOULD use up my protein powder and start drinking shakes again…but for some reason I never real follow through. I’m not sure if it’s more laziness, or just being lame…or giving into my cravings of more unhealthy foods over things like shakes..

—hmm… something to work on asap. Actually DOING the things that I constantly think about doing..

Who is going to be honest and tell me how badly getting a tattoo really hurts?

I am planning on getting one on my lower back, on the right side— right above the bikini line-and a phrase— no pictures/drawings.

I’m super scared and nervous but I also want it really badly…I plan on going this weekend to check out a few local shops, but I have a ton of suggestions around Jersey as well.

Any comments/advice would be great appreciated!
