With trader joes!! That place was awesome. It’s definitely worth the 25-30 min drive to go back again soon! Prices are reasonable and they have everything I’d Want to get

Last night was sooo fun!!!
Went out with several friends, and met up with some more at the bars we went to. Overall, I had a ton of fun with some of my best friends. I do wish a few certain people could make it out with me but there’s always next time. Successfully had a great, drama-free birthday celebration- best one I’ve had in years :)

lol it was just a spontaneous decision to do something a little different! i’ve been curious as to how much weight I can do since we’ve been doing 12 reps and I haven’t been able to increase weight thatttt much wit that many reps.
I used a bench to make sure I got down low, like you suggested :)

Beasted my workout
Changed it up a bit so that I can challenge myself more with higher weights rather than reps. Here it is:
Back squats: 65 lbs x 10, 75 lbs x 10, 85 lbs x 8, 95 lbs x 6
Deadlifts w/ DB’s: 35’s x 10, 40’s x 10, 40’s x 10, 40’s x 10
Leg Press: #6 x 10, #7 x 10, #8 x 8
Back Extensions: 25 lbs x 10, 25 lbs x 10, 25 lbs x 10
Bicep Curls w/ DB’s: 12.5’s x...

Had a yummy protein shake after my workout
now going to shower and get ready for the day. Possibly running some errands and maybe shopping?
Any suggestions on low carb/fat protein powders? I only have enough left for like 2 more shakes :/

SO far I feel it in my upper body and back only, so I’m thinking I may be out to lift lower body tomorrow.. we’ll see! If not, I guess I’ll do more cardio?? Idk!>!

The class was super fun! And yea- I definitely didn’t need to do the cardio beforehand, but oh well! Felt good to run a mile without feeling like I was going to die :) I’m finally getting a little better at running, so I actually feel like I want to do it more!

Kettlebell Demo Review
The demo class was really good- as expected.
We did 1 minute intervals switching back and forth between a 1-arm kettle bell exercise and a cardio movement (jump rope, jumping jacks, or mountain climbers). It was definitely tough because there was very little break within the 40 minute class- more like 15 seconds here, 15 seconds there.

Forgot to take a pic so:
Small serving of whole wheat pasta, with some broccoli and a few small chunks of sausage
Mixed greens salad w/ about a 1/3 of a hard boiled egg (white only), some baby shrimp, carrots, cucumber, and green pepper

Today was a rest day so I kept the carbs low, but I felt like I needed SOME- hence the whole wheat pasta.

I REALLY want it to get warmer out...
so that I can take a nice walk in the park.. maybe even a jog. There is a beautiful park in my town, flower/rose garden, tennis courts, pond, miniature golf, paths w/ exercise stations, etc. and I’d love to go there…asap ;)
EDIT: like TODAY!!! Wishing I wasn’t at work because it’s 60 freaking degrees outside! I’m off Monday- *crossingmyfingers* that it’s going...

Tried hot green tea for the first time today...
not bad. not much flavor- but that might be becauuse of the specific kind I got. I’m just not used to warm drinks…I’ll work on it some more :)

Tonight's Cardio-yay!!
Jump Rope to warm up
Ran 2 miles- STRAIGHT…6.5-6.7 mph, so about a 9:15 min. mile
Walked a bit
3 sets of: Jump rope, 1 min. plank, 20 seated leg tucks, stretching
5 minutes on the bike to cool down
*actually super proud that I ran 2 miles straight- haven’t done that in over a year or two :)

but I need to push through it and get my ass to the gym for some cardio & abs…better look at my dash for some motivation!
